Wow, how privileged to see them up close and in their own habitat. What a struggle they have to get back down the beach to the sea !Got some great photos on my decent camera but cant upload them quite yet.
Well worth getting up at 6am. Only about 4 people down there too on the huge beach so quite nice, unspoilt and a real privilege :-)
At the end of the day, you're only here once so it's something not to miss !
Sounds like you are having fun already - I presume the turtles are laying eggs - as you say very priviledged to see them - lucky you.

ReplyDeleteAmazing how they find such a small remote island. 4 people viewing them? - must be a large proportion of the population. Imagine if we had that same proportion here watching say Red Deer in New Forest
